Hororata Village Cafe

I can't praise this charming little café enough! During our journey from Christchurch to Terrace Downs, we were craving a pie and decided to stop in for a quick meal. All three of us agreed that these were the best pies we had ever tasted! They were so delicious that we also bought three to take away. The staff were incredibly friendly, and Jason even took the time to chat with us after we raved about his pies. He is a butcher who is truly passionate about his craft, from the selection of the meat to the way he cuts, cooks, and flavors it. We’re already planning our next visit to the Hororata Village Bar Café. “Jason for Pie Minister!”

My mom and I are exploring the South Island, and we couldn't praise the delicious food we enjoyed today enough. We had the beef pie served with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy, and it was truly incredible! We stumbled upon the café by chance, and we will definitely return if we're in the area again! The café also has a wonderful ambiance.

We had the best pies ever! A group of us, all Koreans, visited this restaurant recently. The hospitality and service were fantastic. I would love to go back sometime!

Not very often you find a good pub and country that has it all! Unreel staff and I totally unreal food! Would recommend them in a heart beat for a good meal A
