Waitress was not attentive at all. We had a party of 16 people. We had to ask other servers for drink refills, condiments and my order was never put in. Everyone else was almost done eating when mine finally came and my food was cold and the baked potato was half cooked. She then expected an 18% tip from everyone. We tip great if the service is great.
We were visiting for spring break, and we just got in town and stopped in around 8:38 pm on a Wednesday night. Waiting a little while for the hostess to come up only to tell us that the kitchen was going close in 15-20 minutes, so we said we'll order quickly as long as we were seated. He left to clean the table but came back shortly and said the kitchen would now close in 5 minutes. We left in frustration and did not eat here.........
Food was very bland and overpriced. It was nearly $20 a plate for fried flounder. The only enjoyable part of the meal were the biscuits.Service was slow even though there weren't a lot of customers there. Many of the servers hung out at the back of the bar and we had to go to the bartender to pay our bill. It was annoying having to wait so long each time we needed something. It's been a while since we've been to a red lobster and after this experience it will be a long time before we consider returning.
Our waiter who was fairly new did an awesome job! Landon took his time and waited on us and made my mom's birthday dinner a very good one ro remember we enjoyed out time out On beautiful Sunday evening
