We also enjoyed the lamb passanda and garlic chili curry. The chutneys served with the poppadums were fresh and the naan bread was well cooked. All the dishes were served hot on our plates. The service was attentive and friendly. The banquet deal offered great value for money.
As vegans, we were pleased to find a dedicated vegan menu at this restaurant. When placing our delivery order, the staff were proactive in informing us which dishes and items were vegan. The food arrived in 45 minutes, as promised, and was still hot. Everything was delicious, with fresh flavors, nicely seasoned with chili, and not greasy.
The service at both the restaurant and Just Eat was shocking. I have been disappointed with Curry Village for weeks now, but this time my delivery order was missing three items. When I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, there were no apologies or offers of a replacement. Instead, they suggested free meals for next time. If they cannot handle customer complaints, there may not be a next time. It seems like a tactic to get me off the phone without offering any compensation. I also lodged a complaint with Just Eat, but the expected response time is 14 days. This is unacceptable and they have been warned about this.
It is not london standard, but it is tasty and it is by far the best curry in the opposite. However, if they buy the chickenertikka or sweet curry, they will be disappointed. essentially they avoid the “classical” British mumbling and they will be in order. the Bombay fish cure is delicious as the Sage sniper, zwiebelbhaji, brinjal bhaji and prawn say. we are going to the Friday excursion!
Great to have a vegan menu and good delivery service, delicious non-greasy dishes and special coriander and chilli naan. Thanks!
