The bed and linen was amazing. (I actually got lost in the bed Short stopover from LGW. Bit of a find. Shuts at 10pm. Top Notch customer service.

We had booked a table for 12 for our family Christmas meal and although it was a busy day the service was brilliant, it was almost like we were the only ones there! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Everyone also commented on how amazing the food tasted, the portion sizes for all three courses were spot on. My partner and I stayed in one of the rooms that night, it was clean, fresh and there was plenty of tea and coffee! We both had a cooked breakfast the following day which was also cooked to perfection!

All the staff were pleasant and accommodating, the surroundings cosy especially the log fire, and the food was delicious.

What a lovely place! Me and my husband stayed here as we were eating at a restaurant down the road. The food we saw looked amazing so we will definitely be going back to try their roast! The staff are so friendly and lovely, they cannot do enough for you. To name a few, Lee, Kate, Emma, Phillipa and Dave were all very accommodating! (I hope I have spelled the names correctly! The rooms were gorgeous, with all the amenities you could need. A comfortable bed and a picturesque view from the window. There was also a continental breakfast available as it was a Sunday night and cooked breakfasts are only available at the weekend. This was not a problem at all, there were plenty of options including croissants, pain au chocolates, toast, muffins, flapjacks, porridge etc. We would highly recommend this place and will be sure to stay again if we are ever in the area.

A beautiful pub. Lovely atmosphere and the food was amazing. Lots of gluten free options. Friendly staff. Will definitely be going again.
