Cafe Volga - Horta

If you are hungry and just want a quick no frills egg, steak and chips, this is a cheap meal cafe, basic style. Don't expect to be served, you go and pay at the bar and service is almost non existent..it it what it is...and you get what you pay for.

If you are looking for a gourmet meal, this is not the place to stop. Probably the cheapest place in town, so it's hard to rate it. The cafe is crowded for lunch. If you feel hungry at 9:30 pm and want a quick snack, with the local people, you can go there. They serve all kinds of local sandwiches (bifana, prego), omelet, soup at all time.

Terrible! Stopped in after reading reviews, just wanted a light quick bite to eat. If cheap food is what qualifies as good in your book, then this is it. We ordered 2 beef sandwiches w/fries, quite possible the worst sandwich I have even eaten! Sorry so harsh, I can't understand where the good reviews are coming from?!

O melhor prego da Ilha!Um dos 2 melhores Cafés/ Bicas da Ilha!Tem um Bolo de Laranja de Chorar!!! é Bom Bom Bom....(sabe aquele especial Bolo de laranja da Avó Nina!! - a minha!! :P ).Tem refeições de menus diários, com sabor caseirinho e barato.mesmo no meio da Cidade, é o meu local preferido para o Café da manhã! ;)
