Venta La Parra - Horta de Sant Joan

Last time we visited for Menu del Dia the food was excellent. We went today and sadly it was poor. I chose chicken from the grill and when it arrived it was burned on the outside but **** on the inside. When I complained it was placed back on the grill for a few minutes so the outside of the chicken was extremely tough and burned like charcoal yet once again when I eventually cut into it the meat near the bone was raw. I can only assume the chicken came straight from freezer to grill. Of course raw chicken is a health hazard and a definite no no yet the staff seemed disinterested when I rejected the meal. When the bill came they still charged for two full meals. I wont be returning to Venta la Parra nor will I now recommend it to guests staying in my home.

Beautiful roadside restaurant in old barn. Worth visiting if in the area.

Comida casera y muy buena. hermoso lugar y paisaje. Buen trato personal.
