Mj's Supper Club - Hortonville

The food was exquisite and expertly prepared! The staff were friendly and provided attentive service.

This was the worst supper club experience I've ever had. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took over 30 minutes for them to take our order. I ordered the salmon patty, and it was incredibly dry. The prime rib was even worse—I took one bite and couldn't eat any more. We're definitely done with this place.

My husband and I came across MJs on a Saturday afternoon motorcycle ride. Initially we had stopped at a place in Hortonville for dinner, but the service was terrible and we never had our order taken so we left. In search of a place for dinner, we arrived at MJs. The backyard bar was pretty busy, but inside was not. We had a couple drinks at the bar where the bartender was very friendly. Our waitress (I believe her name was Shay was awesome! She was super sweet and very attentive to our table. I had the Coconut Shrimp with the potato cakes and my husband ordered a 12 oz steak. The soup/salad bar had a lot of options and was very fresh. I thought the prices were reasonable, food was great and service was amazing! We will DEFINITELY be back :

This was undoubtedly the worst dining experience I've ever had. I ordered a large ribeye steak, requesting it to be cooked rare, but it arrived overcooked—more like medium—and was the most flavorless, tough, and gristly piece of meat I've ever encountered. I strongly recommend trying the Black Otter or any other restaurant instead. The drinks were overpriced, and the meals just weren't worth it.

This has to be the worst meal I have ever had This has to be the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My steak was overcooked, even though I asked for rare, it was tough and grizzly. It certainly was not a prime piece of meat. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
