We found this little gem when we visited our son in the mtu a few years ago. every time we're up there, we're almost daily for a drink and at least a few times for a sandwich. we all have our favorites, but we never had anything we didn't love! sometimes we eat there and sometimes we run through. when we have called ourselves in order for the execution, everything was always perfect. I recommend this place very much!
I have never had such a bad time at a coffee shop. The girls behind the counter seemed annoyed to make a suggestion of a good drink. I ordered a sandwich.....Almost $15 for a sh-t sandwich and a drink.....I will never come here again, the employees must be friends with the owner or something because holy hell, if this were my business I'd of fired them a long time ago. NOTE TO OWNER....Your rude -ss employees are driving away customers......Customers MONEY if you didn't know. I'll let all my sorority sisters know, and word travels fast.
I rarely ever review businesses, but after today's horrible experience I feel compelled to spread the word about how much this place BLOWS. What a horrible business. I used to stop by on occasion, but didn't really come around often for several reasons. One, they close at 6 PM. Two, pretty much ALL they serve is coffee. Three, their internet is slow as hell. Four, it's mostly staffed by hipster types who can be somewhat rude and dismissive. Fifth, many of the seats don't have nearby power outlets. Sixth, the place is like a big concrete echo chamber that gets loud as hell when it's crowded. Seven, the seating is not very comfortable. Eight, every time the outside door opens it lets in a big draft of cold air, which sucks for anyone sitting nearby. Overall it's just not a very welcoming place to be.
Good food.
