Garrett's Place - Houghton Lake

The special of the day was walleye. When the waitress brought the fish to me, I asked her if it was indeed walleye. Her response was, "I could lie to you all day; does that answer your question?" I was furious. What if the special had been ribeye steak and they served flank steak instead? Would you just accept it and say nothing? I certainly hope not. STOP mislabeling the fish as walleye if it isn't actually walleye. Especially since you're right on Houghton Lake, where walleye is one of the most commonly caught fish. The bill came to $52 for two people. I won't be returning to Garrett's Place, that’s a guarantee.

Parking: There was plenty of space and it was quick to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with a single level for those with disabilities.

Make sure to bring a hoodie because it can get a bit cool, but the staff is always friendly and the food is delicious.

We have ate here several times within the past year. Food has always been great. Customer service has always been good and friendly! Reasonable pricing on dinners and a variety of choices. If your hungry.. Great place to resolve this! Defineatly recommend!!!!
