They apologized because they had no sliced gluten free bread to toast, but they sliced a bun. (They toast separately and bring it to you. It was delicious. They also have separate gluten free cereal. There are also eggs, bacon, fruit, and yogurt. Very happy to have options!
The wait staff knew what could be served gluten-free although items were not labeled gluten-free. They baked the thick chips so I could have them and the Italian Job Starter served well as a light meal for me. It was delicious. They also had entrees that were already gluten-free. These entries sounded good but I was not hungry enough to order one. The soup of the day was also gluten-free. On two morning we had the breakfast buffet and both times I had plenty of options.
Helpful previous reviews, the menu doesn’t really describe anything being gluten free but they have gluten free buns for burgers and the fries were safe too. Good enough for a meal if you’re staying overnight, pleasantly surprised.
Thankful for the previous review. Fantastic and safe gf food. Separate fryer and knowledgeable staff. Several burgers, fries, and fish dishes were available gf.
We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn as we got into London. They have a restaurant called the Apron Restaurant and also another spot called Apron Bar with the same kitchen. They have a dedicated GF fryer and the staff was very knowledgeable. The only thing clearly listed as GF on the menu is the soup of the day, but upon speaking to our server I learned most items can easily be made GF and prepared in a separate part of the kitchen. Food was great, and plenty of options like burger with bun and fries, curries, meats etc.
