Aria Suya Kitchen - Houston

My husband and I really adore this restaurant! He always orders the grilled fish, while I go for the beef with plantains. Both dishes are delicious and satisfying. The plantains can be a bit inconsistent at times, but aside from that, this place is truly a gem!

Every bite was absolutely worth it! This restaurant transports you back home with just one taste. You must try their special stew and the turkey gizzard suya. Oh my goodness! I loved everything I ate here. It's a true taste of Nigeria right in Houston!

The food was excellent, and the wait time was very short. I enjoyed it so much that I finished everything before I even got home! However, I do feel that the atmosphere and overall design could use some improvement. It seemed like the decor wasn't well thought out. The event seating really didn't work; it felt uncomfortable and uninviting. I wanted to enjoy a nice dine-in experience, but the setting left me feeling disoriented. As someone who values cleanliness, I noticed some areas that urgently need attention, especially the bathroom—it definitely doesn't meet the standards expected at this price point. If it were strictly takeout, that would be fine, but they really should invest more in enhancing the ambiance and aesthetics. On a positive note, the person who took my order was incredibly patient and friendly. Thank you for that!

This weekend while I was visiting the Houston area, I made two visits to dine at Aria. I must say if you have time and patience to wait on some delicious food, this is the spot! Their kitchen is a little slow, but it's totally worth the wait.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Nigerian cuisine at Aria. But nothing motivates to leave a review at any location I patron than excellent service. That’s exactly what I experienced at Aria. The owner noticed my brothers and I were waiting on our orders and watching sports on our phone. He personally came over and asked us to follow him to lounge area with seating to watch any game we wanted comfortably while eating. Then when the food arrived it was as expected, absolutely delicious. This spot is must visit when in Houston.
