Aroma Colombia - Houston

I wanted to like this place so much! The location is convenient however, to say the food was underwhelming is a complete understatement. I had the empanadas to start off and they had more potato than actual beef. The green sauce is probably my favorite part of the entire meal. We ordered the bandeja paisa and the carne asada had ZERO flavor. I?ve never had to put so much hot sauce to make something edible ever?. And the first bite I took was a bunch of fat. Bandeja paisa is about $18. While the food was good, I do believe service can definitely be improved. As a Colombian, I did not feel welcomed. Ambiance also lacks. I hope these improve!

If you want to have aurhentic Colombian food, this is the place. We just can not resist coming here even though its almost an hour drive from where we love. Also the restaurant is very well maintained and clean.

An extremely well-kept prestine place to eat! The staff was really nice but the food was a little tasteless to be honest. The food came to table very fast (but parts of it was somehow cold, which I hope will improve in future) However, overall I can definitely recommend this place. The beans and sausage were really tasty!

Awesome place, ideal for families. The food is excellent. You can taste the best Roasted chicken. Colombian food like at home, the menu is wide in options, also, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
