We ordered 2 pounds of crawfish along with some chicken gizzard and heart skewers. Everything was absolutely delicious! The special sauce on the crawfish was bursting with flavor, and the skewers were great too! I hadn’t been here since they were located at their old spot on Kirkwood, but it’s still fantastic!
Although the restaurant is just a few blocks away, the fried seafood arrived quite soggy due to condensation during transportation. The fried oysters had a strong fishy taste, which wasn't to my liking, so I likely wouldn't order those again. The shrimp, however, were a standout for me: they were large and already de-tailed. The crawfish was decent but slightly dry from frying. The chicken tenders were pretty average, and both the catfish and tilapia were soggy, yet met my expectations otherwise. The fries that accompanied the catfish and tilapia were significantly soggier compared to the fries with the smaller seafood. However, they had a good amount of seasoning and were quite salty. The drinks were overly diluted and packed with ice. Overall, the value was fantastic, and the portions were generous—two boxes fed three people, with leftover fries. However, the food quality suffered during delivery. I would definitely consider dining there in person next time.
This is my friend's favorite spot for crawfish, and it's quite good! The spice levels are definitely on the hotter side; even the medium has a noticeable kick. For larger groups, gratuity is automatically added to the bill, so keep that in mind. They charge for bibs and gloves, which I understand helps reduce waste, but I personally prefer places that offer them for free. I really enjoy their Thai basil flavor, and the garlic butter kitchen mix is also a great option. Unfortunately, during my last visit, one of the shrimp I ordered was spoiled and had turned black. I didn’t bring it up to the server, though, as they seemed busy. As for the bathrooms, they were just okay—not the cleanest I've seen.
Came here based on several online recommendations for Viet Cajun Crawfish. We walked in at 12:30pm and we were the only guests in the establishment. The server was very nice and welcoming. She recommended us what the most popular dishes and that it was happy hour from 12-6pm. We ordered the fried rice, escargots, razor clams, and house special crawfish. Food was amazing!!Only complaint was that we didn't check the bill until after leaving the establishment and noticed the crawfish was $9.99/lb vs the $7.99 advertised.
They have happy hour during the weekdays. Definitely worth it for the crawfish!
