We, two visits here for the second time on Tuesday 8/2/2022 at 7 p.m. Even if the restaurant closes at 8 pm, we still got a first-class customer service. The staff was welcoming. We sat immediately and we were not rushed to order or finish our meals. Our server Deani was great! The food was good, seemed fresh, was a good portion of size and was delivered quickly. We had prepared the 5 oz salmon. Mine was blackmailed. My cousins were soy style? We also had the au gratin potatoes that are one of my favorite items on the menu, and green beans. The food has not much to season, but adding salt and pepper to me has done the job. I had a frozen mango margarita that was good. The dinner salad that came with the meal was nothing special, but I liked the Spanfer Ranch Dressing. They also serve dinner rolls with the meal. Food is cheap. The atmosphere was calm. The decor was nautical. I'd come back.
Such an amazing experience! Here on holiday with my girlfriend, we were accepted to go to Kamp Houston, but after hearing it was a 2 hours waiting until nothing we decided to go next door. And when I told you, we were the best place to go? The food was amazing. I have a pasta and my friend got the shrimp and black rice and we both loved him. We mentioned to the waiter that it was my friends' birthday and they surprised us with a chocolate cake with trick candles that we did not demand. The owner even came out and welcomed every table. It was a pleasant experience and we recommend you stop! Christie?s great!
We went to Christie's for a milestone birthday (I could have chosen somewhere, but I chose Christie's). As always, it was incredible. The drinks were delicious the icy beer was served in frost cups as it should be. The soup (Crayfish Bisque) was loaded with cancer yummy, but would have used a little more sherry pepper. Salad were fresh ranch dressing delish. Love her garlic warriors. And surely the main course for all of us was the roasted shrimp they have known for over 100 years. It is the best in this part of Texas crispy roasted on the outside, but NOT greasy or strongly baked, cooked with huge butterfly shrimps inside to perfection. I love mine with her homemade remolaude sauce, while my mother prefers her red cocktail sauce with her can also not go wrong. For my side, I had broccoli, which comes as a massive part, to take so much home. Then, for my birthday party, they brought me a huge piece of the best chocolate cake I've ever had with Icing that tasted like Fudge. To share a lot. All in all, except for the lack of our regular servers, Amalia, it was a perfect meal with large staff to complete the celebration.
First time at Christie's and I was pretty blown away with how good all the side dishes were. Everything from the luscious au gratin potatoes, to the fluffy dirty rice, to the simple but perfectly crunchy fresh coleslaw were all clearly made in house with care. The calamari appetizer was lightly battered perfectly crispy but a little on the salty side (the tomato dipping sauce was excellent). My blackened fish sandwich seriously lacked flavor but I'm hoping it was a one off. My friend's fried seafood platter looked really good but I think the restaurant could benefit from offering a lunch menu, since most entrees are above $25.
