They were out of brisket and we weren’t made aware of that until about mins after placing our order. adults ordered entrees with brisket, so it was a bit unfortunate. Seems like that big of a menu item would’ve been covered in pre-shift. There was no crowd, so it wasn’t a matter of running out (that day Otherwise, it was fine
Before I elaborate, let me send a shout out to the manager and our waitress, both of whom did their best to overcome the shortcomings. Visiting here for a birthday celebration, my wife requested her favorite dish from Cyclone Anaya: Enchilda Suizas. For a couple decades, this has been her absolute favorite version anywhere. However, sad to say, they have discontinued the dish. But the kitchen staff told our waitress they could make it anyway. WRONG. It was No Where close. What used to be a wonderful sauce of poblano peppers and sour cream, was now reduced to a tasteless chardonnay sauce over a plain chicken enchilada. To make matters worse, she found a nearly two inch long BONE in it. I, on the other hand, ordered the salmon Jalisco. OMG. What I got was a well done piece of salmon covered in what generously could be described as an open can of Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup poured over it. Who is cooking back there? A third grader????? And now lets talk about our first disappointments. Three of us ordered top shelf margaritas of different varieties. We were all trying not to say anything, but we all were thinking it: These were so tart they were barely drinkable. We finally brought it to the waitress's attention. She talked to the "bartender", who said that might be because she was out of simple syrup, so thought we wouldn't notice. Closing my eyes, taking a deep breath. Okaaayy. Can you MAKE some? The manager himself actually remade the drinks and delivered them. Ten times better. So, after being a fan of Cyclone Anaya's for literally decades, we will never set foot in there again. So sad
Absolutely great service for my bachelorette party dinner! My girls and I enjoyed our food and loved the upbeat environment! Our server was phenomenal and enthusiastically engaged with us all
The food was great. Tables were a little too close to each other. My chair kept getting bumped by the waitresses trying to get through. They allow you to choose to wear a mask or not at this time but I do wish the tables were spread out a little better. Overall, food was great and the service was good
