Dacapo's Pastry Cafe - Houston

This local Deli/Pastry shop is fantastic. I have eaten several times here and always had a great experience. You have a wide range of options from sandwiches and salads, soup and quiche. You have great combo meals that allow you to try a little of both. This is a small restaurant where you can see that everything is done in the back when you order so that it feels very intimate. All I saw working there were always very friendly and seems to care how you like your food. The desserts that sell the place are incredible. You have a cookie that is banana chocolate chip and is delicious. I also ate a piece of carrot cake that they sell and it was just as delicious. I'd like to try more, but then I'd get 500 pounds... It could be worth it, but the food is so good. I would definitely need them for a relaxing lunch or if you need a dessert made for a party/function. The quality and taste are top notch.

We stopped here to get a birthday cake and eat lunch. We loved their lunch, have a few different sandwiches and they were all delicious. The cake we picked up was beyond the good, we got the strawberry cake and it was great. Whether you get a cake or keep for lunch, I would recommend Dacapo's. The room inside is limited, but it wasn't crowded when we were there. It is an order at the counter and choose your table restaurant.

I liked her avocado tortilla soup! It was palsy and tasteful. I also liked her pear bread, it was delicious and tasted fresh, soft n damp. I've never had pear bread, but I'm glad I tried, it's really good! I also had her oatmeal cookie n it was also good.

Order at the counter and bring your food to you. This is a small, cozy room, but it doesn't really fill out. Many people get their lunch. This is a great little lunch place for good sandwiches and great desserts. I like that they have a variety of page options, such as the carrot souffle, and that you can go a good coffee or dessert.

It 's tiny cafe, but very cute. They make a great chicken salad sandwich and I love the $1.50 ugly cake tops. I also highly recommend their bakery for whole cakes. The prices are very reasonable and the cakes are beautiful, delicious, and taste homemade.
