Einstein Bros. Bagels - Houston

Needed a quick bite for breakfast after the gym and this place was nearby! Placed a takeout order on the app and it was ready by the time we arrived only a few minutes later. The ham and Swiss bagel sandwich I got was pretty good. The bagel was toasted nicely but the insides of the sandwich themself felt a little artificial or low quality to me. It was still a very satisfying decent breakfast and is very consistent with the other times I have gotten Einstein's. If you need a quick, decent breakfast that will be super consistent then Einstein Bros. Bagels is a solid option.

We ordered two breakfast sandwiches today. There was no pepper in the condiment area, with two bins full of only salt packages. My husband wanted pepper on his sandwich. He noticed a jar of what appeared to be pepper on the counter, and went to get a couple of shakes on his sandwich. The cashier (male, African-American, middle aged) spoke to him very rudely, and told him that he could not use it. When my husband responded that there were no packages of pepper, he said “Let me see, let me see.” After coming around the counter and rummaging through the condiment bins, he finally admitted that they were out of pepper. He didn’t make any effort at all to find any pepper. This was an unpleasant and totally avoidable part of the experience. The sandwiches were both very good. However, our interaction with this employee has ensured that we will not return to this location of Einstein Bagels again. This is Houston, and there are lots of choices for good food, along with good customer service! We see no need to tolerate rudeness.

I was in vacation i wanted to try something local wife recommended this spot. Best thing ever… service was great and food was even better

I love Einstein bros, but my three stars are due to the general appearance of this store. The place is not well kept. The service stands/tables are messy, with no attention to the cleanliness and refilling of missing items. The workers outfits are smudged and some of them had torn gloves on, touching their faces and noses as they were preparing the food.
