El Paraiso Mexican - Houston

I recently tried Tex Mex in Montrose and was impressed with the fast and reasonably priced meal options. The dishes ranged around $10 and came with a small salad instead of rice. I opted for the delicious entomatados, which offered big portions of beef, chicken, or white cheese (my personal favorite). Unfortunately, I couldn't try their specialties as Felix on Westheimer was closed. The parking was limited but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot. The restaurant also displayed unique artwork on the walls, some of which was available for purchase. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I would highly recommend this restaurant as one of the most authentic Mexican eateries in Houston. The staff is fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious.

Just go through the square and go HERE! It is delicious and you will be full and happy!

I have to say, this place has the best chips and salsa I have ever tasted. The main dishes were delicious and the margaritas were perfect (they made a party style with a mixer instead of a traditional cocktail) and ice cold. The service was fast and friendly. Plus, the atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive. I absolutely adore this place!

El Paraiso rocks has for years!! Chips salsa are off the chain and so is all of their food! Especially the chicken mole!
