Are there any vegan options here anyone. Can't really tell from the menu pictures online here. I think the V next to the items on the menu means vegan but on some other pictures it says that same item has butter... I'm confused can a fellow vegan who has eaten here help me out and let me know what's the best on the menu for us vegoons!!
The food was quite good but the service was mediocre. We tipped the waitress anyway and right after she asked us to clean our own table. Shame.
Really great dosas and sambar, tasty chai masala, nice idlis too. I wasn’t a big fan of their chutney (tastes like peanuts) but why squabble? Fast service, great prices, a perfect place for a healthy veg lunch. If you are unfamiliar with South Indian food this is a good intro that is easy on the tummy and the wallet.
We were a group of 5 and we had ordered 2 kinds of floating idlis, rava dosa with masala, ghee roast, magic oothappam, yummy oothappam, mango lassi, masala chai and filter coffee. The texture of the idlis were very rough. Sambar was very average tasting, needed more salt and had a very thin consistency. Rava dosa was not the typical Rava dosa. It was just a normal dosa with some chilies in it. Masala was given separately instead of inside the dosa. Oothappams were very thick and lacked salt. Mango lassi was made out of milk instead of yoghurt. Masala chai was not good. Ghee roast was average. Filter coffee was the only item that was good. Overall it was a bad experience unfortunately.
