Flying Saucer Pie - Houston

I chose Flying Saucer b/c I wanted to find out why the lines were wrapped around the building every year. I bought two cakes for the Thanksgiving holiday: a lemon cream and a pecan. They were the bomb!! Now I understand why the place is always so busy

Your apple cake is the best apple cake I've ever had! I love how soft the apples are and the taste of filling is amazing. Not to mention the crust is buttery and crispy! Can wait to taste more pie flavors!

My sister was married to one of the sons Marilyn Edgin, who was originally co-founder of the Flying Saucer Pie Company. We never had to stand in the line, but I remember that they go through the door during the holidays and carry all kinds of cakes and wish that we could simply bypass the turkey for a piece of strawberry cake. They were pure heavens!

This place is ran by a hard working staff that always ensures each pie is made perfect. Always delicious, highly recommend!

I have been coming here for a long time. I’ve never been disappointed. Stood in line the day before thanksgiving and was able to get what I went for. My strawberry cream pie and key lime. I’ve never tried anything else from there so I can’t speak for the other flavors they have. I give them thumbs up.
