Grinders Coffee - Houston

I stopped by for a drink and a brownie. The Golden Goat beverage with oat milk was a delicious choice. The brownie, warm and gooey, was rich in chocolate flavor. I initially craved something savory, but I ended up enjoying the brownie instead. The seating is somewhat limited, but I was lucky to find a nice spot on a bench. The weather prevented me from sitting outside. The service was attentive and helpful, especially when I was at the counter.

My wife and I enjoy visiting this place every weekend for our coffee and croissant cravings. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring that you're informed about which coffees contain CBD so you don't accidentally order one. The bakery that supplies their food is fantastic!

The person taking my order was unfriendly and spoke so softly that I had difficulty hearing her. After I ordered my coffee, I found a nearby table to read while I waited. After some time, I started to wonder where my coffee was. Looking over, I noticed it had been left on the counter while the unfriendly staff member chatted with another customer. When I finally got my coffee, I asked if she had called out when it was ready. She claimed she had done so twice, but it was clear I didn't hear her. Rather than make the short walk to my table or simply raise her voice a little, she chose to let my coffee sit and get cold. This lack of consideration for others was striking. It seemed she simply didn’t care at all. I won't be returning.

I asked to mix white chocolate and raspberry for my latte and it was DELICIOUS. I actually had to leave with a second one.Most of the time, when I go to other coffee shops I feel the flavor might be overpowered by roasted/burnt coffee flavor or it's too milky. Despite the fact that I love my lattes sweet I think this one was perfect combining the flavor making it sweet enough but not sugar tasting and perfect coffee taste.Totally recommend.The parking is a bit tricky. However, once inside, my friend and I sat on a couch and were really comfortable chatting and enjoying our coffee.The croissant wasn't the best one I have had, but I would still recommend giving it a try. It is definitely different than what I'm used to.
