La Griglia - Houston

I discovered the restaurant randomly by ordering a side of spinach only from Uber eats one night, and they delivered it with a bag of Italian cookies. To me attention to detail is everything especially when my order was so small so I’ve decided to try out the restaurant the following day.I had dinner for the first time at La Griglia and it was awesome. Our server Alexander made our experience unforgettable! He gave us an impeccable service and it is def my to go Italian restaurant in Houston.The manager service as well is top notch and greeted us on our way out!Will def go back : thank you for the awesome experience

Honestly I just left full, satisfied and excited because i found my new favorite spot. Shout to our server Jose and his team! They left a quite an impression on not only myself but with my family as well. Here’s what I had and highly recommend. Pizza bread, the seafood cheesecake to start. Blood orange for the drink. Followed by soup of the day which was asparagus soup. Delicious!!! I had spaghetti carbonara as my entree. Pasta was cooked to perfection! Seriously on point! Complimentary cookies were to die for. Can’t even decide which was my favorite. For desert I had the tiramisu, a must have. This place far exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent. They work in a 3-4 person team so everything came right after ordered. Food was hot and fresh, drinks were cold and very refreshing. No complaints what so ever. 10 out of 10

First time dining in at this restaurant. We dined with another couple and had a very good experience. Although we had reservations for a later time, we arrived early and were accommodated with a table within 5 minutes. Wait staff was very attentive and responsive to our needs; our head waiter, Alexander, made sure we were taken care of. We each tried different entrees braised short ribs, salmon, seafood di mare, rigatoni. My favorite was the seafood di mare the sauce was excellent. Dessert was also very good the key lime pie was the best I've had; Creme brule was prepared differently than we've seen before it was just OK.

Houston has a new restaurant open weekly so there are many choices. We decided to hit up an old tried and true with family who was visiting. It was even better than I remembered! We had Alexander wait on us and he didn’t miss a beat. Super attentive and anticipated everything we needed. The food exceeded expectations as well!. So glad we went old school!

Love Love Love this place. We always feel welcome and taken care of! Tonight we had Alexander, as our sever, and he went above and beyond with his service and attention to detail. Fantastic place! Dinner or lunch! ?
