La Veracruzana - Houston

I usually take a left for lunch. Decided to take a right today. Wowwwwwwwwwww. Drove past this gem many times. So glad I stopped.

Not gluten free friendly. I ordered, asked questions and gave info regarding NO GLUTEN. Turns out they fry their tortillas in a communal fryer and they were contaminated. Made me very sick! Staff needs to be educated. Be warned if you are celiac or NCGS

Not a fan. The burrito I had was bland. There are other places in the area with better Mexican food. I did enjoy their salsa.

I just really enjoy the place and the food so much. Every time I've eaten anything from here it feels like it has been too long since the last time. Everything they do they do well.
