Latin Bites - Houston

If you're a fan of Peruvian cuisine, Latin Bites is the perfect destination. I've visited multiple times, and it consistently impresses me. The food and service are both exceptional. During my most recent visit for lunch with my best friend, her daughter, and my son, we ordered lomo saltado for two, lomo saltado a lo pobre—which includes beans, a fried egg, and fried plantains—salchichas (hot dogs with fries), and to drink, we chose Chicha Morada, a traditional Peruvian beverage made from purple corn. Everything was incredibly tasty, and the meat was tender and juicy. If you enjoy wine, be sure to visit on Wednesdays when all bottles are half off. I absolutely love Latin Bites and will definitely return!

I ordered the chicken fried rice accompanied by a side of plantains, and it was absolutely delicious! It could have benefitted from a little less oil and fewer embellishments, but it was still very tasty. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, the menu was straightforward without being overly complicated, and the staff was politely respectful. I was particularly impressed by the bartender’s meticulous attention to detail as she reset the chairs and cups on the bar. I truly appreciate when simplicity, professionalism, and great flavors come together.

This is a cool and beautiful spot for Peruvian food. Next time, I’ll stick to the original menu from Peru for the best flavors. The coffee was excellent!

If you love South American, or Latin food, or just love food in general, this is your place guys. The waiters will help you if you're unfamiliar with the options. Try the Anticuchos, one of the amazing (and very different ceviches (leche de tigre!!!! ,and don't their Aji Gallina chicken!

The Best Peruvian Menu I have seen in the US. The Tamale was absolutely Peruvian style. Mimosa made fresh juice and balanced very well with Cava. We came for breakfast and there were many options besides Peruvian Breakfast.
