This place lives absolutely up to the reviews. the interieur is beautiful, there is a lush bambus-covered terrace, and eating is amazing. if they want a lot of Sichuan flavor, they give this place a try. we had the red oil gurkensalat, the funky noodles, and the red oil clouds, which only order from the cold appetizers and street food menu for a quick lunch. everything had this perfect acidic/salty/spicy taste combination that I was looking for, and of course the anesthetic kiss of the perennial pfeffer grains.
Best Sichuan food I had in Texas. they have a lot of really interesting dishes of the spicy green fish was one of my favorites. be careful, they are really kicked by the seasoned and mala. no wait when I was there (normal dinner on Friday) and the staff was cold.
This place was my way to eat perennial! the service is always super fast and you eat consistently amazing. we always get the spicy crispy chicken and the boiled fish! these are the best main dishes to get, and I also get Kumin lamb and auberginen sometimes. our waitress ming is fast, efficient and extremely welcoming. we sat outside this time and the green environment is super soothing.
Mala Sichuan is a great dinner spot. The whole menu has very reasonable prices and every dish I’ve had here has been excellent. On top of that the service was surprisingly quick and very friendly. I genuinely have no complaints for this place, and I will definitely be coming back as well as recommending it to anyone who wants a delicious spicy Asian dinner. Side note: they also do takeout!
