Masa Sushi Clear Lake - Houston

I was hoping for a better experience. I picked up food for lunch and the salad was old, the sushi fell apart and Manno man were the spring rolls small. I had a nice surprise when I opened my togo bag and spilled the soup in my bag. I couldn't go back to correct it, lunch was almost over. I just want my money back. And heart broken bc I need a good sushi place to eat in it?

The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing. I will definitely be coming back!

I came here because of the high reviews but had a surprisingly bad experience. I ordered the sushi c combo which is a chef selection plate and for $40 I was expecting a high level of quality. But sitting at the sushi bar I could see they pre-slice all of their fish. So not surprisingly the sushi came out dry and rubbery. That?s just lazy work. Even H?E?B slices their fish fresh when they make sushi. Also, the rice wasn?t properly seasoned, tasted bland, didn?t hold together well, and the fish didn?t stick to the rice at all. I tried one of each sushi and but couldn?t finish the rest. I paid for my meal and was ready to leave when the waitress came back and said they accidentally ran my card on another table. At this point I was wondering if this was a joke. I?d give zero out of five if I could. I was expecting at least decent quality due to the reviews but was greatly disappointed. Maybe they were having a bad day, maybe the staff is inexperienced, I don?t know, but I definitely won?t be back.

This was our first time here and wanted to try some Sushi. I decide to give it try during the lunch special (before 3:30pm) as the prices are about half. The atmosphere was lacking in my opinion. Everything here tasted great, and the portion to price ratio is great. The service was alright, could have been a little better. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again! It?s not on the menu shown in the pics but the Eel Camino Special Roll is amazing and cleverly named since this Masa is located on El Camino Real near NASA space center. The sashimi peace?s are ample as well. They have limited seating so I?d call ahead to ensure you get seated and enjoy their sushi!
