Mccormick Schmick's Houston (downtown)

Hardly believe that this place is in the possession of landry. that was terrible. food quality was terrible. service ok. the place was dead on a Saturday night. now I know why. desserts were at least good.

I usually have a good experience here, but yesterday it was terrible. service was so poor and our waitress was extremely inconspicuous. it took too long to get our food and drinks, and when my food arrived, my steak was a lot of room temperature. not to mention that they are from kartomas and the roasted kartomas we chose were not very good. we expected a nice dinner for the birthday of my daughter and I really regretted to choose this place.

Our server was great so I’m not complaining about her. The food was very slow coming out of the kitchen.

Restaurant was grossly understaffed we sat at our table for 20 minutes before anybody bothered to serve us water, and it took another 10 minutes before our server cam to take our order. I would have left, but I was hosting a recognition luncheon and didn’t have a back up plan.

We enjoyed eating, atmosphere our waitress was a great place to have a nice dinner
