Excellent coffee and fast service. The Mocha-Latte was delicious and so was the cinnamon roll. The Barista was helpful and accommodating. There are indoor and outdoor seats available but limited capacity. Good place to hang out.
Beautiful coffee shop in the district of Montrose with pet-friendly parking. Great atmosphere for work, study or just hang over coffee. Large staff and a variety of drinks on the menu!
The best place to work. It's a total mood. Large hot and cold coffee selection also with pastries.
Scared to say it's one of my new favorite coffee shops because I don't want it to start to get crowded, but it's just so great! It's very chill. Think Black Hole and Campesino had an artsy but mellow child. There's plenty of seating: outside is great for chatting, small tables for working alone with some table space, a few tall window tables, and my favorite which is a giant table that fits at least 10. The inside is a tiny bit quieter than most coffee shops I've been to but not like excessive pressure to talk quietly. I think what draws me to Mercantile is really just the chill vibes I get when visiting since it's a little separated from most of the other Houston hot spots. The coffee is pretty good but I tend to go for just the classic drinks. I would recommend the spicy coffee (it has cayenne pepper in it!
