Napoli Italian Memorial - Houston

I am very disappointed with my most recent visit to this restaurant. When I called to order the Zuppa de Mare, the lady on the phone quoted me a price of $22. I questioned this and she asked if I wanted a small instead. I agreed, even though I was confused as I thought the soup only came in one size. When I arrived at the restaurant, I questioned the order again and found out that she had charged me for and ordered a seafood pizza instead. She corrected the order and charged me the correct amount, but the quality of the food was not up to par. There was oil sitting on top of the bowl, the calamari was rubbery and overcooked, and the pasta was undercooked. I have not been eating out much this year, so the fact that I wasted my time, money, and energy on this experience is disheartening. I will not be returning to this restaurant. It used to be amazing, but now my heart is broken.

I have been ordering pizza from this restaurant for years. Unfortunately, the quality has declined. The cheese is not evenly spread and there is too much crust on each slice. One slice, as you can see in the picture, had more sauce than toppings. I will not be returning.

I typically don 't review a restaurant before eating at it, but this restaraunt had the worst customer service. The waitress cares more about cleaning the dining room than serving a paying customer. I had to ask if I seat myself or if I need to orderat counter, she begrudgingly said i can help you at the counter she was super not interested in helping a paying customer. Iwas being super pleasant and nice towards her too, but still she seemed more focused on getting her cleaning done instead ofhelping me. The food is marginal, nothing to call home about.

With the name Napoli, I was expecting Neapolitan pizza. It?s truly just a thin crust pizza, but it?s still really good.

We were amazed by the delicious pizza and pasta we ordered at this restaurant. The pizza crust was heavenly and the pasta was bursting with rich flavors. Despite the disappointing red wine, the outstanding pizza more than made up for it.
