Onion Creek Coffee House, And Lounge

I was visiting Houston, and our aimless wandering brought us to Onion Creek. Thank goodness for that! The terrace was lovely and offered plenty of space. We arrived for an early breakfast, and it was nice and quiet. They definitely attract more customers than we saw that morning. Our food was delicious and exactly what we were craving! I would highly recommend this place.

Onion Creek is a dependable spot with great food and a laid-back bar-counter atmosphere that creates a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Featuring a spacious dog-friendly terrace, Texan-inspired decor, and community events on weekends, Onion Creek has a welcoming vibe that feels both familiar and refreshingly new at the same time.

The Brisket Burger was absolutely delicious and definitely worth a try for anyone interested in the menu. I suggest opting for Pommes instead of chips for a more flavorful experience. This spot has the vibe of a bar and restaurant, which is easy to appreciate. Our server, who brought our food and cleared the table, was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a great place, and I would happily return when I'm in the neighborhood.

This is a large terrace restaurant / bar. Very popular, so if there are not parking on the property, ready to park on the street or above. It is family-friendly as it appeals to a variety of foods in appetizers, pizza, salads and of course children's section. On the chalkboard behind the register/bar area there are daily specialties. I'm sure they change during the seasons. I took my dog twice and he had a great time both human and dog watching; the staff is friendly and hard working. I highly recommend it.

Of all the Creek restaurants I think this is my favorite. I’m not sure what differentiates it, but the atmosphere is just always good. The guys at the counter are always nice. The music is good. Their food is great, notably the salads. Which sounds silly to say about a place that specializes more so in beer and comfort food, but it’s true! The most recent time we went we got the chicken kale caesar and the white oak salad, both were amazing! I think if a restaurant can do a good salad, then they really know what they’re doing. Plenty of options for all kinds of eaters, open, spacious patio, sports, good music, good vibes. Shouldn’t be missed!
