So we stopped in this restaurant on the way back from New Orleans Louisiana. There was a groupon for $7 for a lunch for 2 and we thought why not use as there are none of them in San Antonio Texas. The food is just as I remembered it was tasting when I was a child! My favorites are the sour cream Enchiladas and the Chili Rellenos. However, or server was not a big one. The self-service bar lacked acid cream, so the first was what I asked. She didn't bring me, but she came to my table and said it's like disappointing now. She never filled our waters again. We still recommend that you stop and enjoy the food and do not forget to pamper in the freshly roasted Sopapillas!
5 stars, for the nostalgia and the service.. I didn't have to raise my flag on my drinks. My food wasn't exactly what I remembered 20 years ago. The food rates a solid 1 maybe a 2.
The plate looks messy in the pic, but the food is so delicious!! And all the employees are so very nice. Very good service!!
It is good, but need to open earlier
