I visited during lunch, and it took quite a while for them to bring my bowl after my coworkers had already received theirs. I ended up having to take half of my order to go. The menu is quite good, and the sandwiches are reasonably priced. Food: 5/5.
The best place for pho in Houston! I highly recommend trying half of your bowl without any sauce to truly appreciate the flavors they’ve created. After that, feel free to add whatever toppings you like for the second half. It's absolutely delicious!
I really enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, their hours change frequently, making it difficult to know when I can satisfy my cravings.
My review is only for the phở đặc biệt (House special beef noodle). Meat portion is pathetically meager (meager for both cheap beef cut and beef cut). Bò viên (meatball) only 1 meat ball that is chopped up into 4 pieces. Broth (most important for any phở connoisseur) is blend with practically no beef (bone) flavor and no essence of phở. The verdict: I mught return for other menu items but I will not return for phở.
So this place is no longer the same place it was a few months ago. The business has been bought by a new owner(s) and they have reduced the menu to most of the run-of-the-mill Vietnamese restaurant's menu; no longer do they have the items that makes this place unique, interesting, providing a unique food experience. The food is ok now, now as good as before. The only item left that kept the place interesting is the crepe but that's not enough to drive out of your way to get it. Even with the reduced menu, some items were not available when we ordered them. Hopefully in time, they will up the food quality with the items they have; most likely not going back because most of the items I ate there are no longer on the menu.
