Have always been a fan of Pollo Bravo, but on Apr 24 we ordered a plate to go and this is what we found on the salad as soon as we got home. EDIT: Since the owner replied saying they are not quite sure what I found I guess I need to be more specific and ask him to closely look at the top left corner of the ?side salad?.
Yesterday, we went to eat to this place to try the chicken that sells in thIs restaurant as the main attraction. I took a piece of breast, and it was mushy, I put to the side and I told the waiter when she asked us, if everthing was oky I said not the chicken was overcooked! She brought une extra piece, and it was the same MUSHY. But I gave the benefit of daut and when she asked again, I told her that may be the chicken was over marinating. A I did not want to make a big deal, because we were with friends that invited us. Later, we started having cramps and diarrhea. We do not recommend this place.
For many years I have enjoyed coming to this location. The food is the most consistent at this particular one in this chain. I love Peruvian food and really enjoy the rotisserie chicken here. The fried plantain is one of my favorite dishes here also. While there are better Peruvian restaurants in Houston, this is a good, affordable place to enjoy great flavors.
Soup and main course were very good. No complaints on the food. Few things to consider: ? music was quiet loud if you 're trying to have conversation ? the chicha drink had wayyy too much sugar. It 's supposed to b a sweet drink, but too much of a good thing can definitely be a bad thing Food comes out fast if you 're hungry.
