Rudy's Taqueria - Houston

I have been coming her very often and the breakfast tacos are definitely my favorites. The owner, Clara, it’s always making sure everything is up to the highest standard. I really recommended Rudy’s Tacos.

Don't let the fact that this is attached to a gas station deter you. Their tortillas are made in house and will sometimes make it right in front of you by the cash register. Their tacos are huge and their daily special plates are only $4.99! Even more, their salsas are addicting!! I look forward to going to work knowing that I can have Rudy's tacos for lunch

Chicharron burrito is the best... every Friday I have to go get one... otherwise I never went.After 3 years this place looks lonely and ladies serving seems like don 't like to talk, another lady (customer) asked for the kind of food on one container and her answer was... can 't you see thru the window???? Could tell the customer was not mexican so, she needed to know what she was going to eat.I decided to get something even though the good looked old and dry, this lady didn 't even tried a way to make food look more fresh, I could tell she is not Mexican... and I have nothing against that but, let a Mexican serve Mexican food, let Cuban serve their food... a Italian serve pasta, specially with fast food...Just my point if view!!!

The food is great! I have been coming here for lunch for years. The reason why I am giving three stars is due to the lack of food portioning. The prices have been rising and the portions are not reasonable for the price. Today’s visit was probably the worst I have seen. As a consumer, I understand inflation but 4 small pieces of chicken on a taco does not justify the price. The owner was there, it’s a shame how stuffed the tacos were compared to now and I even paid for extra meat and was giving 3 extra little pieces of protein. I will be back for the sake of the great tasting food and if there’s no change, the bad review will stay and I will no longer be going back. I’m disappointed..

If you are looking for an awesome breakfast taco spot this is it! I had the papas and chorizo taco at it was delicious. Their handmade tortillas are heaven!
