Wasn't impressed at all with the lunch. The waitress was nice enough and gave me a sample so I could taste their tonkotsu brute. It's powder with decent flavor, don't expect anything amazing from their rams. It's definitely not traditional and the chashu pork wasn't sliced, it was braised chunks. The sushi rolls were small, bland, and overall unremarkable.
I want more Sushi Koi!!! ??? Took my son for his bday on Friday, and had an amazing experience! We ordered the pepper tuna nachos, yellowtail jalapeño, udon noodle soup, lion king roll... my son's and I gobbled it up!Full portions, flavors were amazing and our waitress was the sweetest! She gave excellent service and great recommendations for new food experiences! ??We're definitely going back! ????
Crazy! Got sick from the food and when they get busy it takes forever to get served. There was a lady waiting 20 mins for a takeout order. We waited 30 minutes to get our main course and like mentioned both of us got very sick.... not a good scene..... and they don't like military....
We had a fantastic meal at a restaurant near our hotel. We arrived at 9pm on a Friday and found the place to be quite busy, with empty plates on tables and four tables still filled with customers. There was only one server and three chefs working. The food was incredibly fresh and we only had to wait about 20 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. I ordered the gyoza soup, which was full of flavor, and the agedashi tofu, which had a light and tasty batter but I wished it had more dashi. My son enjoyed the steamed gyoza. For our main dishes, my son had the kid's shrimp hibachi, which was a generous portion, and I had the Galveston roll. The serving sizes were just right. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
