Taqueria El Compa Rey - Houston

I went to this place for some tacos. the kerl on the theke was busy watching a movie on his handy and never recognized me again. I went to him and it seemed like I had disturbed him. very bad customer service. tacos were not good. never stays here again.

Seriously ingenious eating. came here from new york and was impressed by the tacos and enchiladas.

Overpriced. bland food. they don't waste their money or time here. no good place to eat.

Come here to lunch all the time when I get into my customer job site. never disappointed

I had been looking forward to try this place out for quite some time and I finally had a chance to stop by today.I bought three tacos de fajita, two in flour tortillas and one in corn tortilla. I do recomend you get the tacos in flour tortilla not only because in my opinion they tasted better but tue tortilla is just a bit biger and it apears like you get more for your buck.I do have to say I was a little disappointed although the tacos tasted ok the meat (which I don't think it was fajita) was a little dry, im guessing the meat was cooked during lunch time (anywhere from 11:00ish to 1pm when people stop for lunch) so by the time I stoped by which was 2:30ish p.m. the meat was all dry.I however am looking forward to go again and try the breakfast tacos. A buddy of mine eats there quite often and he be posting pictures of the breakfast taco he be ordering and I do have to say they look pretty good.I hate to say it but customer service was horrible, the guy that took my order which was the same guy handling the grill prepping the food looked like he didn't really even want to be there, all I could think was damn put a little effort on doing your job bro . it appear as if he didn't really care much about the costumers which by the way I was the only one in there at the time, but until next time I will be updating my review depending on how it goes.
