The Boot - Houston

This restaurant is a great spot to relax and enjoy some seafood while watching a large TV screen outdoors. I visited on a weekday evening after work while in Houston. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly.

The service was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. I ordered the gumbo and seasoned fries. Unfortunately, the gumbo was lacking in flavor. However, the fries were well-seasoned. I sat at one of the round tables and it was quite hot, as there was no fan in that area. Perhaps investing in a few more fans would be beneficial, especially in Houston where the summers can be brutal. Despite the disappointing gumbo, I am willing to give the restaurant another chance in the future.

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and serves delicious food in a relaxed setting. I absolutely adore it! ❤️

Good traditional crawfish. Great flavor, just the right amount of spice.

Cute lil cajun bar in the heights. They had goooood crawfish last year, and I love that they provide a side of dry seasoning! I went last week and the crawfish were good but still a little small, so I would recommend going in a month or two. Plan to bethere a minute because it took us about an hour to receive our food, but the ambience drink prices are great.
