Very disappointing. I thought that was great because it's a ben berg restaurant. I was wrong! we had a reservation for 4:45. we finally sat at 5:55 a.m. and only then by confronting the host again and again. once we have ordered appetizers, win and ask for brot. no. they were made of bread! our 9 years old wanted simple butter pasta. no pasta! our steaks were in order, but not very hot. the same for pommes. all in all, we paid a premium price and felt torn off. will not make this mistake again!
I can't say enough about how great the experience we had when we had one. the personal was very professional and hard to work in an outdated booked environment. each of the hostess, who had a very hard work on the person who refilled the waterglasses, did this with a smile. our waiter was excellent, despite several tables. we didn't forget. the management also helped to refill clear tables and water, which was very good to see. I've already spoken to my friends, so I hope it's back next year or even previous football matches.
We ate here 17 nights in the rodeo. loved the new dining option supplemented. had great experiences the majority of the time. unfortunately the last night was so unorganized. we sat an hour after our reservation. the food was cold. service slow. the restaurant was overcrowded and prepared. from many Entree options. our cocktails came in plastic cups when they ran out of glasses. I hope and assume that they have worked out all these problems before the next rodeo. I have always loved
I was really looking forward to this dinner; I hadn 't tried B&B Steakhouse yet and this was a great opportunity to do so on the last night of the rodeo. Unfortunately, it wasn 't what I expected. We arrived at 4:15 for our 4:30 reservation and were told we would be seated in a sec . It wasn 't until about 5:45 that we finally got seated. Attempts to talk to the hostess were met with we 're just waiting for tables to leave as she told new customers coming in that they would be seated in a sec . I understand that it was the last night of rodeo and people were there to see George Strait but it seems to me that an experienced manager would have been able to plan better. The meal in itself was quite good, however, I ordered my steak medium rare and my boyfriend ordered his medium well. They came out looking exactly the same temperature. Since we were already very late I wasn 't going to send the steaks back. They were out of a number of items, which again being the last night I could understand but it was frustrating none the less. The table we sat at was in various pieces with high and low spots under a white tablecloth, when we looked underneath you could tell it was essentially falling apart. As a result, I spilled my drink because I set it on a crooked part of the table. They never did get me a replacement and they charged me for both the spilled drink and the replacement. They did take that off the bill but not until I brought it to their attention. Overall, a very disappointing experience for a meal that cost roughly $150 each. Not sure I 'll try their permanent location, for that price there are a lot of great steakhouses with impeccable service.
