Contribuisci feedbackI have suggested this place for years. Now I can't based on tonight. Maybe don't order an hour before closing. The broth had absolutely no flavor, just fatty water. The noodles had tasted what old cardboard smells like. They really skimped out on the dipping sauce for the gyoza. We had to use it sparingly.Food: 1/5
I chose this location to celebrate my 40th birthday and I was running late so I asked for a recommendation that is NOT SPICY.The waiter advised me to order the TANTAN-MEN which happens to be spicy enough for me to smell it before eating it.I asked the waiter if they are sure this is what I ordered they said YESI then confirmed with him about the SPICINESS his response is it 's not really THAT spicy it 's more like mild to me They also charged me MORE than the listed price for the pandan custard doughnuts than what is listed please see the attached picturesVegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options by way of no meat but I wouldn 't trust it to be vegan or vegetarian because it doesn 't specify itDietary restrictions: Their menu mentions specifically that it 's your responsibility to mention ANY food sensitivity or allergies.... followed by we have the right to refuse service to anyone
Upon my first visit to this establishment, I was met with a decent culinary experience. But on this day, I was astounded by the flavor explosion that graced my palate. I started my meal with the pork gyoza, a dish that left my taste buds dancing in delight. Each gyoza was perfectly crispy and filled with a succulent pork filling that was perfectly seasoned.Next up was the wings cooked on the grill, a dish that was grilled to perfection, leaving the meat juicy, tender, and bursting with flavors. The wings were well-seasoned, and the grilling added a distinct charred flavor that elevated the dish to another level. Finally, I dug into the Tonkotsu ramen, and it was an experience I will never forget. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying, and the noodles were cooked to perfection, providing an ideal texture that added to the overall enjoyment of the dish. Each element of the ramen was well balanced, with the vegetables and proteins adding a welcome contrast of texture and flavor. The service was impeccable, with the staff being prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I have to say this is one of the best ramen places in Houston. The best part? The bill came to a mere $40, which included a refreshing beer and a generous tip.To sum it up, my experience at this establishment was nothing short of remarkable. Thanks to the dedicated staff, who have worked tirelessly to bring the best flavors of Japan to Houston, I can confidently say that this is the best ramen place in town!
A vibey restaurant specializing in soups. The decor is dim and sheek. The music was a1. Played indie rnb which I love. The food is also affordable and flavorful
Loved my ramen experience here. It's open late night and that the best. The wait list can get crazy but its worth the wait. They won't let you in till you entire party is present. The ambience is decent and clean, smells of the grills. The service is good. This was our first time and so we went with the servy recommendations. We tried the Tsukemen it's dipping noodles and the ramen is really good. It's spicy and full of flavors. The spicy miso was my favorite the broth is wholesome and delicious. I did not get the Pork chashu but the veggies and the chicken skewer on the side was a good combo. The veggie shout was good too.Overall it was ba good time and did enjoy the ramen here
