Wb Liquors Wine - Houston

Located next to Costco on Bunkerhill, this conveniently located liquor store has everything you need for upcoming festivals and holidays. I grabbed some Grand Marnier at a reasonable price, and the staff here are knowledgeable about what they have in stock.

The selection and variety of wines at WB Liquors is limited. The staff doesn't seem very welcoming or engaged, and it's unfortunate that they watch you closely when you have a bag with you.

I like it! They sometimes have specials on tasty smaller size mixers. My sister loved the cream Amaretto I found here. Prices are good-fair

Love WB's! It's located right next to Costco, but aren't affiliated with Costco. Thus, you won't find any Kirkland products inside. However, you can shop here without a membership. You can also use more payment options (i.e. such as Mastercard, which is not allowed at Costco). Pros: Cheaper prices compared to other liquor stores, which is great if you're buying in bulk for weddings/events/etc. Located right next to Costco's and convenient, pretty decent hours, usually open 10-9 and 10-8 on Saturdays. Closed Sunday (grr antiquated Texas laws). They have a great return policy that allows you to return unopened liquor. They also have a good selection of higher-end liquor and mixers. They have wines here as well. Nice and helpful employees. Cons: More limited selection overall compared to Total Wine or Spec's. I didn't really see any beer sold here either. The employees are really kind but in general, I have found them overall less knowledgeable about specifics of wine/liquor compared to employees in some other stores. I recommend shopping here after you finish shopping at Costco, because you can't bring your purchases inside the store!
