Xochi - Houston

I had a fantastic experience with the food service! Since I stayed there for a week during restaurant week, I got to try most of the menu. The host and servers were wonderful throughout my visit. I asked plenty of questions, and they went out of their way to help me make the best choices. My only complaint is that they didn't offer horchata — why is that?! I was so engrossed in the food that I didn't even think about taking pictures because I finished my plate every single time. I highly recommend trying the affogato hot chocolate with churros; it's definitely worth it even if you're dining alone. Overall, I enjoyed everything immensely!

This is an incredible place for cocktails and small plates. The food is absolutely outstanding; the beef cheek mole was nothing short of spectacular. They also offer a great selection of mezcal and tequila at reasonable prices.

We had an amazing dining experience at XOCHI, largely thanks to our fantastic waiter, Mr. Francisco. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home and took care of every detail with genuine warmth and professionalism. His expertise regarding the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were perfect. The standout drinks of the evening were the Jamaica Foam Margarita and the XOLO Mexican Wine, both of which Francisco recommended skillfully. His attention to detail and friendly attitude truly enhanced our meal. We can't thank him enough for making our visit to XOCHI so memorable, and we definitely plan to return and hope to see Francisco again!

Lived up to its reputation. The painted cacao bean dessert was a showstopper.

The hype is real. Just like other reviewers , I was extremely pleased with the food, service and overall experience. But what I think sets this restaurant apart from other really good restaurants in Houston area is their commitment to keeping high standards. Next day after our visit, I got an email from the manager asking for a feedback on how they could improve things. Mind you this is a very popular eatery with over 3500 positive reviews. They are doing fine. It's great to see that they don't rest on their laurels. Keep up the great work.
