I had the Jambalaya and would recommend. Food is spicy for you Wussies. Jalapeño Cornbread optional, but should be the standard. Now eat and eat. Go!
The place is long in the atmosphere. Tables made of a 50s-diner, various Louisiana-Nicnacks, and a mixture of 50s/60s R
This was our first visit to Zydeco. The guy in the register immediately realized that we were new and one of his guys explain the menu to us and where to order. The oyster boy was great. The register has been there for 28 years, so it is either a dedicated employee or a participating owner. He came to our table and brought some shrimps to taste and delete the table so that we could have a cozy lunch without clutter. Good atmosphere, good food and the most important good customer service. And the prices were reasonable. Thank you.
We ate here in spring vacation and very enjoyed it! Service was fantastic and it had an authentic atmosphere. The seafish etouffeee was amazing! Crawfish was in the season and my sweetheart put 2 pounds of it alone hand. I recommend you try them!
Went there before an event nearby about 6:30. The restaurant was not busy and we got our food pretty quickly. Crawfish poboy and crawfish etouffee with jalapeno cornbread, Excellent and mighty filling. I used to eat there when I worked downtown and it has great food and friendly staff.
