They were nice and they had a sense of humor. They brought the food to our seats, even though they didn't have to. The Blind Goat is located in a food court type of area on the first floor of a high-resolution residential complex in downtown Houston. Nice place, but I think they are so good that they must be in an independent facility where more people can access their great food and people.
My experience was so brilliant at Xin Chao, I just had to try the Blind Goat, which also a beautiful creation of Christine Ha in downtown Houston. This is a good place to eat with family or friends. You get to watch how your food is prepared as the seating is oriented to watch the kitchen that offers a fun experience. The food was also cooked in time. The food was well prepared, and the flavors were unique. The staff was very informative about the menu and also offers good recommendations. I recommend!!!!!!
I ordered the crab garlic pasta. It was so well made. The ingredients were amazingly chosen for this well known dish. The serving is proportional and I would even say it is a great amount of pasta for you to taste that garlic party!
This place is amazing. The food is rich and yummy. I’m not well versed in Vietnamese food, so I will leave it at that. The chef here was the season 3 winner of master chef. I can understand why Gordon Ramsay said she was good. She isn’t just good, this food is amazing. The staff was kind and helpful. The way the restaurant is is a tad confusing, but just ask a staff member if you are confused. There are other establishments there also.
The restaurant has a stunning Asian fusion menu. We tried the fried Bao with chicken and found the chicken to be very tender and juicy, while the Bao was crispy and light, creating a great combination. However, we felt that the sauce was too sweet. The beef bulgogi was delicious with a perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of sauce. The chicken curry was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary.
