I read about the £6 a plate deal throughout February so myself and two girlfriends thought we'd try it out last Friday. So glad we did as I can honestly speak for all three of us when I say that the food was delicious, some of the best we've had in a pub, ever! We shared the seafood platter, anti-pasti and cheese platter as well as the salt and pepper squid. They were all original and well thought out with top quality ingredients with well chosen chutneys and beautiful breads. It was all so tasty. We were three very stuffed and happy bunnies when we left. We will definitely be going again very soon!

We had our wedding celebration party at The Venue in The Brunswick in June. It was completely brilliant. Andy made the organisation simple and Anya is incredibly helpful. The bar staff were fantastic particularly Zara and Ed our guests couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Matt, the engineer, did a great job with the band we had booked and the food was excellent. The staff really make you feel that they were enjoying themselves too! We cannot recommend this place highly enough either as a potential venue for a private party, a brilliant venue for live music or simply as an excellent local boozer!
