Enjoyed our time there! Very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful

Our room in the Tower was very nice! Spacious, comfortable and clean. No microwave but we didn't need or want one anyway. I understood there was no housekeeping but it was fine for only staying three nights. The view on the 9th floor was beautiful. Very helpful and friendly people working the front desk. It was a great room and reasonably priced. I would visit again.

We've now stayed at grand traverse twice and had beautiful rooms with stunning views. Both times we've been in the tower which is gorgeous. Check in was easy.

A 4 star hotel with 2 star service. Great location and easy to get to. Lots to do in the area. Good looking grounds. I 'd been here before for a conference. However there is zero housekeeping during your stay. No towel replacement , no trash removal and no linens changed regardless of how long you stay. This is unacceptable considering the price as well as how they represent themselves to the public as a leading resort and spa destination . When I saw towels had not been picked up I called front desk that stated housekeeping stopped after Covid started and if we want something to ask . Right... not coming back . A cheap motel would do better then that. In addition they charge a $20.95 daily resort fee on top of the nightly rate. So what are we paying this for if we get nothing other than a bed to sleep on ?

The front was roped off for construction that never began, meaning to get you luggage in and out it was a pain. The room's closet held 5 shirts, maybe. Drawer storage left a lot to be desired also. The shower was pretty but did not have a door, they had some sort of heat lamp that didn't do a whole lot. The sink did not drain. They mowed the grass at 9 am. The reception desk was always packed so to ask for anything it was a wait. Bar is situated directly in front of the elevators and the bartender was irritated and a little rude. Other staff I did not find either welcoming or helpful.
