We arrived at 1:45, and even though they were scheduled to close at 2:30, they received us with open arms and seated us at a beautiful table adorned with a pristine white table cloth. The restaurant was full, and yet the waitresses managed to create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. They were very efficient and super friendly. We received a complimentary fresh focaccia with olive tapenade, both delicious. The pizza was amazing, and the homemade gnocchi in a blue cheese sauce were to die for. Excellent panna cotta and a fantastic Italian coffee rounded off our meal. We can definitely recommend this place and hope to be back when we are in the area.
We arrived at the entrance gate and seeing that the restaurant is only operational for an entire 3hours per day, we called to reserve a table for myself and company, however, upon enquiring, whether or a miniature dapple dachshund will be allowed. We were simply informed that no animals were allowed on the grounds, and according to the person on the phone, there is a clear sign at the gate which i am still looking for the phone was just put down in my ear. luckily just down the road there is a restaurant with the app most beautiful view and they were such animal lovers as you will see in the photos
An absolute treat! So glad to have visited this gem of a restaurant. My husband had the lamb shank and i had the baby chicken. Food was superb!! Service and hospitality- excellent! Keep up the good work guys
An exquisite family run restaurant. The food was outstanding. Great selection of good wine and the service was excellent. The setting is cosy and so wonderfully Italian. It was worth every cent and we will definitely be back.
Small portions. Not great either. Frozen stuff. Not much fresh food. Would advise going elsewhere. Complained about the portion 3 times. They didn't seem to care. You expect hearty food and portions in the midlands.
