Thai Hoxton - HOXTON PARK

Awesome local Thai restaurant, even better than our usual range of Thai restaurant choices at Canley Heights in our local vicinity. Located amongst the local strip of shops at West Hoxton, this little Thai restaurant is definitely a gem with plenty of street and off-street parking right in front of the strip as well as a large parking area behind the building by the hardware store.Quite beautifully furnished, my wife & I felt very comfortable while eating here. We ordered a salt & pepper squid, beef salad & a chicken stir fry with cashewnuts. All the dishes came fairly quickly, but it was the taste that blew us away. Without any high expectations, given the local nature of the restaurant, we were amazed at how good the food was and the generous portion sizes given the cheap to moderate prices. The squid was crispy, chicken was tender, but the star of the show was definitely the beef salad. It was indescribable, the flavor combination was just divine.It was that good that we returned again the following week (but with my wife's parents as well), and they both agreed the beef salad was marvelous, though my father-in-law enjoyed the soft shell crab even more. We ordered the coconut prawns, salt & pepper soft shell crab, chicken stir fry with satay sauce, BBQ octopus, and the amazing beef salad on our 2nd visit.We will definitely return again. One of the best Thai meals we've had. Highly recommended.

We have discovered our new favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. We absolutely enjoyed the food, especially the Hokkien noodles and fried rice. The portions were generous, fresh, and delicious. We were not disappointed at all. The restaurant is now under new management, and we are thrilled to have such a wonderful Thai place nearby. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.

This restaurant is the best Thai spot with quick service. We ordered the Thai fried rice and seafood platter and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious.

This cozy little restaurant has changed ownership twice since I've known about it, but the food is always top-notch. They are open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm, serving breakfast as well. The staff is very friendly and mentioned they will soon be signing up with Menulog for online ordering. However, customers can also call the restaurant directly for home deliveries. I enjoyed the king prawn with snow peas in oyster sauce (absolutely delicious), while my friend devoured her plate of pad see aew. I can't wait to try the whole barramundi with red curry sauce next time! I will definitely be returning.

We have visited this place a few times, and were here last week. I ordered the seafood Laksa. The dish smelt off and after a couple of spoon fulls, I Pusey the dish aside and left it there. The waitress who was pleasant when collecting our plates asked if everything was ok with the food. We told her that the LAKSA was not right as I have had it here a few times, she looked at it and smelted it and agreed. She let the owner know who decided that it was ok, because as we paid the bill, the waitress said I told the owner and suggested we should not charge you for this dish as you guys are regulars, he said no ...Terrible example of customer service.. If you have made a mistake own up to it....Will never visit this place again.. Local at Carnes Hill and Hoxton Park better options...
