Al's Smokehouse Grill - Huber Heights

The restaurant maintained excellent cleanliness and safety precautions. If you're vaccinated, there's no need to wear a mask. I was really impressed by how clean everything was; they immediately sanitized the takeout area and wiped down every seat after guests left. The rest of the dining area was immaculate, as you can see in the attached pictures. Considering how busy it was, that was quite impressive—aside from a couple of soap spots on the sink, everything else was spotless! I definitely recommend this place, even if Mexican isn’t your go-to cuisine. They are more than willing to help you find something you'll enjoy. Plus, it’s a great value for money; we ordered over 13 items (not including drinks) and spent under $60. Truly worth it!

The flavors were excellent, with unique spices and a fresh taste. The atmosphere felt welcoming and cozy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. Regarding cleanliness, I would rate it 4 out of 5; there was a bit of dust in high places, but the dining areas were spotless. The parking lot is spacious enough to accommodate an RV. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick meal, which was delicious from start to finish.

This restaurant offers truly authentic Mexican food that is outstanding. I have no complaints—everything was fantastic, and we will definitely return. I've tried several Mexican places in Dayton, and this one stands out as one of the best. The scallops and shrimp are excellent, but I highly recommend the fajitas; they are absolutely delicious!

Best food for the money. Always good food and friendly service. The waiter came by at least 10 times during my visit to see if we needed anything else. Awesome, courteous service on his part! He worked hard for his tip. The restaurant is always clean and always quick service. Plenty of Mexican dishes to choose from. Also serves alcoholic drinks as well as nonalcoholic beverages. I don't believe any of us are perfect as God didn't create anyone perfect so I'm giving this visit a 4. Wish I could give a 4.5. Will make a suggestion to Google to make that possible for future ratings.

The food was delicious. We especially liked the chorizo queso dip. So good! The chicken chimichangas were on special and they were great! There are a lot of options for food and some great Mexican beers on tap. I would have given this place five stars but it took absolutely forever to get our check. Still, I would highly recommend this place!
