Best Puerto Rican cuisine in the area. Had the empanadas that were the best I had, the picadillo (beef) mixture is fantastic. The filled curtains were more like top tarts, but the taste was spot on. The triplettta sandwich was very good with beautiful balanced taste and a good meat-bread ratio, served with curtain chips hot from the frit!

Can wait to go again! came over here after driving and saw the flags. Had the Cuban and some empenadas. Cuban was amazing! Empenadas were even better! Place is very cozy and friendly. I recommend you check this place if you are addicted to Hispanic/Latin foods like me. Me gusta todos cosas mucho, especialmente los empenadas de carne. Yo quero el Hamburgesa de PRB tambien! Bueno Suerte with restaurant excellent!

Best empanadas I've ever had! Matter of fact I'm reviewing this a little late and I'd die for one at this very moment!! All staff are very kind and there are so many options to choose from on the menu that I've been there 3x in the past month to try more things! But definitely try the chicken empanadas. They are as the rest of their food is.

This was my first time in the Latin cuisine of Raíces and I was impressed by the courtesy welcome, the great tasting and reasonable prices. The shredded beef with rice and plantains became delish. The Mofongo with salad and “mayo-Ketchup” was amazing. The Choco Flam, a layer of Custard on chocolate cake, was an experience for my senses, wow! I liked the look and the ambience! Everything looked clean. Two thumbs up!

If you are looking for the best Puerto Rican in the area don’t look further than Raices Merged Latin Kitchen, if it’s better than some of the top restaurants in Tampa. I promise you you won't be disappointed that everything is just delicious and I feel like I'm eating back in my grandmother's house.
