Bo De - Hue

It is in a first class location, but the decor and eating served not justness. the reviews in the happy cow have betrayed me for the first time. I would not recommend this unless they have no other options

Came here for lunch with my Vegan partner. Vegetarian myself. The Fruit shake was about the only good thing I had. Ordered the Vegetable soup with mushrooms. It was just a bowl of spinach, basically in hot water, with some mushrooms and rather spongy tofu. Nothing else. My partner had the Fried Rice, because after ordering the waitress came back to say the Mixed Fried Rice she originally ordered was out. .. What? . Very bland. Service was okay . Took our order. Brought us food. Nothing more, nothing less. Didn't seem overly happy to serve us.

Came here twice while in Hue and both times the food was really tasty and freshly cooked. Cheap compared to other vege places in Hue. Lovely outdoor seating area.

Covered outdoor restaurant with an English menu and a pleasant vibe. You might find that there is more variety looking at the Vietnamese version of the available dishes. Certainly this place is great value and the portion sizes should suit a famished appetite. Green tea comes as a standard offering. The first time I went I ordered “cơm trắng” (white rice) and some “rau muống xào” (stir-fried morning glory). Very nice indeed.

They have a wide range of options on the menu. The breakfast is served all day. I had some banh beo and noodle soup, which tasted nice and were not costly.
